Its raining,its pouring .......

We have been trying to work in the garden in between storm and tempest.

Misty rain through the sunshine this morning.

Holly hocks in their nursery pot.

Please can we go inside to the warm pretty please ?

Oops my finger was caught in the shot. Pansies and white geranium post at the front door.

Overflowing rain gauge in 48 hours 60 ml.

Our bon fire heap...way to wet to burn.

Now that's a pile of rocks. Peter has been moving them for a couple of days on the weekend. We had to move them so the satellite could be installed. Where's Fred Flintstone when you need him?

This shot does not show my parsley pots very well, since moving here they have both flourished but I made a Moroccan dish last night and cut most of it.

Playing with potting mix and punnets.

I have moved these succulents around all of the homes we have lived so they are 30 + years old and traditionally they live on our heating units so here they are. The one on the right has perfuse bright orange flowers in the hot months.

I am sure if I asked our stonemason Paul to give me a mark on my crazy paving I would fail miserably.

One very wet droopy pansy.

We now have a rain water tank to water the garden.

Our Sonningfield Green Man on the side of the garden shed...may he "Blessed Be".

Our little people have followed us to wherever we move, they always seem to find cosy sheltered nooks and crannies.
